Petros is the bottom-block, dark dirt
a cradle [hollow]:
pebbles ground, layered down
with brown leaf, mealy bug — holding
all God has to tell
(tablets, slabs that focus sun).
Saying, Just try,
double dare to take away
rock is monument, shoulder, memory, hand
“hand” in the pocket checking again
mines
crystal facet, and heat
protection comfort owned [stone]
— all hauled from earth [worth]
